Adrienne hopes to get inspirartion for writing another novel and Don takes pictures for magazines and likes the big bathroom in the house to become his studio. The house was previously owned by a magician in the 19th century, Zoltan Carnovasch (AKA "Carno"). The main character in the story, Adrienne Delaney, has just bought a remote mansion with her husband Donald Gordon. You gotta love how this game interested more controversy in these little parts with casual curse words like "Dammit, it's locked" and "What the hell is that?"
This is the entire first chapter of the original Phantasmagoria game, the controversial interactive movie/adventure game that propelled a short-lived phenomenon in computer gaming.
